the preface

Hello folks!

So I decided a blog would be a fun way to let you all know about my YWAM experiences in Salem. I'll be leaving in less than three weeks now (January 10th...AHH!).

There's still alot of preparation for me to do- emotionally and physically. I'll be leaving my family and friends (all of you!) for quite a long time, and that can be a scary thing. But I know God will use this experience in alot of ways to stretch me far outside my comfort zones and make it into something I'll never forget.

And I still have SO much packing to do! And SOOO much support to raise for my trip- oh my! Upon receiving my acceptance packet from YWAM, I found out I need about $3,000 by the time I arrive at the school (AHH!!!!). But I know everything is in God's hands; He will totally and completely provide all my needs and work everything out in His time and plan.

I thank each and every one of you for your prayers, encouragement, love, and support every step of the way. I can't do this without you.

Oh, and have a Merry Christmas!!!!! : )
